We provide oral hygiene services to those facing barriers accessing care for a variety of reasons throughout the district of Timiskaming.
Our mobile service provides a comprehensive oral health assessment, preventative care (debridement/scaling/polish) and treatment planning. Our Dental Hygienist is dedicated to providing personalized care whether in the comfort of your wheelchair, bed or resting comfortably in our portable and ergonomic dental chair. We schedule ample time to accommodate the individual needs of patients and encourage the participation of health care teams and families to support regular mouthcare habits aimed to benefit overall health and well-being.
Susanne Fleming is a RDH centrally located within Timiskaming. She began her career 1999 as a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) in Alberta and B.C. before moving home to Ontario in 2009. Her experience in the Dental field is broad having worked in General & Specialty dental offices, Hospitals, Educational facilities (UBC), remote Indigenous health clinics, Pharmaceutical sales and Volunteer led clinics in Community centres and Not-for-profit clinics. She thrives on continued learning, attending annual dental conventions and study groups to deliver the highest level of care and comfort to her clients.
We want to make your dental hygiene experience a safe & pleasant one. That's why we provide a range of resources to help you and your family member prepare ahead of your appointment, understand treatment options, and more. A caregiver's presence is encouraged during the appointment to ask questions and include the client in future oral health care goals.
We offer direct billing (EDI) to most major insurance plans such as: private dental insurance, NIHB, CDCP, OW and ODSP. Alternatively, we accept a check or e-transfer due upon services rendered.
We respectfully acknowledge that we operate within the Robinson-Huron Treaty and Treaty 9 (James Bay Treaty) territories. The area is also recognized as unceded Indigenous territory, specifically by Beaverhouse, Matachewan, Temagami, and Timiskaming First Nations.
We serve the Timiskaming region; North of Kirkland Lake, South to Latchford, West to Matachewan and East to the Quebec border.
